It's been a while since I've posted on my blog. I've been so busy collecting treasures, quilting, gardening, etc.... I'm just not sure where the time goes...it's nearly Thanksgiving already.
What treasures have I been collecting? Various fruit jars. I love all types and my recent treasure hunting expeditions have landed me with some pretty cool jars.
What have I been quilting? I recently received some quilt tops that belonged to an aunt that passed away earlier this year. I matched them with a backing and took them to my quilter. Now I just need to add the binding. These are my true treasures; I will cherish them forever!
In addition, I have made a few baby quilts. I have a new grandson so he got an OSU Buckeye quilt as well as a Dallas Cowboys quilt. A friend is expecting a baby this month and this little guy will have a Patriots quilt.
I've been working on handmade Christmas ornaments, too. This year's Christmas tree will be a metal tree with only handmade ornaments.
What kept me busy in the garden this summer? My fairy garden. It was bigger and better than ever! Several friends and I completed our gardens and had our very own little fairy garden tour. It was so much fun to see the assortment of items, both new and handmade.
